2 NIGHTS, 3 DAYS MASAI MARA BUDGET SAFARI

 

Day 1: After breakfast head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve and set-up Camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 2: Full day game viewing in the Mara, enjoy picnic lunch under a tree in the bush. A short drive en route to the camp arriving late afternoon. Meals and overnight at the Camp.

Day 3: Early morning game drive, returning to the camp around 9AM for breakfast. After breakfast have a game viewing in the Mara. Leave for Nairobi late afternoon with the option of picnic lunch or lunch at a restaurant on the way to Nairobi, arriving late in the afternoon.

  2 Nights 3 Days Samburu Camping

 

Day 1: Pick up at 0800hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive at around 1400 hours in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 2: Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at a campsite.

Day 3: After breakfast proceed for a game drive en route Nairobi to arrive around 1400 hours.

Day 1 Arrive in Nairobi and fly to the Maasai Mara reserve by light aircraft. This 45 minutes flight takes you to the airstrip near your lodge where you have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner. Overnight at Mara Serena lodge

Day 2 After an early morning game drive and breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure. After lunch embark on an afternoon game drive in search of more game, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 3 After an early morning game drive and breakfast, take your light aircraft flight to Nairobi. We will take you for Lunch and allow you to freshen up before your transfer to the airport.

Day 1; Maasai Mara;
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Maasai Mara through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2; Maasai Mara;
Spend the day viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and Rolling hills. Siesta at lodge or visit Maasai Villages at a small fee paid separately. Meals and overnight at lodge.

Day 3; Nairobi;
Pre-breakfast Game drive,have breakfast and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

Nairobi City Tour and Short Excursions:

Daphne Sheldricks - $45

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a small flexible charity, established in memory of David Sheldrick, famous Naturalist and founder Warden of Kenya's giant Tsavo East National Park in which he served from 1948 until 1976.

Since its inception in 1977, the Trust has played an extremely significant and important role in Kenya's conservation effort. Six Trustees assisted by an Advisory Committee of practical Naturalists with a lifetime experience of African conditions oversee and direct the operations of the Trust.

The orphan elephants and rhinos are just some of the many wildlife commitments we are involved in. The Trust does not solicit funds and relies entirely on donations from its caring and compassionate friends.

 

Nairobi City Tour - $45 per person

The tour covers the modern city center, the colorful market, Parliament, the Railway Museum and the renowned National Museum where there are spellbinding displays of nearly man, tribal regalia and flora and fauna of Kenya, A visit to the adjacent snake park is also included: The tour returns to the city center in time for lunch

Nairobi National Park: $140 per person

The unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometers from Nairobi's bustling city center but despite its proximity over 50 species of mammals can be found there, including four of the Big Five. The tour also includes a visit to the animal orphanage at the park gate. The tour returns to the city center by sundown.

Karen Blixen/ Giraffe Centre: $90 per person

Drive towards the Ngong Hills and pass the Ngong village to the Karen Blixen Museum, for many years, her home. Later proceed to the Giraffe Center to see and feed the famous Rothschild Giraffe and her family.

Carnivore Experience: $50 per person

Guaranteed daily at 12.30 p.m. and 7.00p.m. Nairobi has many restaurants offering varieties of cuisine. We recommend a dinner or lunch at the Carnivore, which is famous for the succulent stew and barbecue dishes of game meat as an excellent compliment to a holiday in Kenya; especially as an excellent welcome, or farewell dinner.

Bomas of Kenya- 3 hours: $60 per person

You will be treated to a rich traditional music and dance show at this cultural center. Bomas of Kenya is only ten kilometers from the city center

 

Rift valley /Lake Nakuru - Full Day: $250

Enjoy the view of the Great Rift Valley from the escarpments and then descend to the Lake Nakuru National Park. A game drive to view thousands of flamingo and other bird species in addition to viewing the white and black Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and Waterbuck among others. Lunch is served at either Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge.
