Passport
Make sure that your passport is valid and does not expire during your stay in Kenya
Visa
A Visa is required for you to enter Kenya from most nations such as USA, UK . Do a web search for the Kenyan Embassy in your country and look at how visas are issued and find the applications needs.
Immunizations
It is best to contact a travel clinic in your place of residence. You need a clinic that will issue an international health certificate since that is required with your yellow fever immunization. It is also recommended that you received a tetanus update. This should be discussed with your travel clinic about 8 weeks before departure.
Malaria Prevention
While receiving your immunizations check with the doctor at the travel clinic about malaria prevention. .
Insect Repellant
Buy a few bottles to take along and wear during the evening and night times.

Sunglasses and sunscreen is needed for most, a broad hat would also be quite helpful.
