Kenya Student Safari
- For any student desiring to visit Africa on an educational tour, an adventure safari, a wildlife camping safari, volunteer or eco-tour, there are certainly many places of interest. Kenya is one of the them. With a blend of unique cultures and tribes especially the Maasai whose stories, art, traditional beauty and courage is told throughtout the world, the Swahili people of the Kenyan coast; Kenya certainly offers one of the best student travel experiences. After your 'normal' educational or adventure tour, you can choose to take a student camping safari in Masai Mara, Nakuru, Samburu or Amboseli or simply wind up at the Kenyan beaches in Mombasa, Malindi, and Lamu.
- At Bush House & Camp Safaris, we understand one thing:- the need to see and learn much on a restricted budget. That is why we do our best to offer MANY complimentary services which would otherwise inflate the budget. However, it is not always easy to offer great discounts for one or two. Group travel here is the word. Costs are shared and well distributed.
- For large groups of up to 15 pax, we organize so that one group leader doesnot pay a cent for the safari except their own park fees and personal expenses. In addition, we arrange for a celebration lunch or dinner for all after the safari
Planning a Student Safari Holiday - How we do it
- Bush House & Camp Safaris prefers to work with the student leaders and organizers in preparing their itineraries, activities and all preparations for the incubent safari.
- The most important joint activity is to fit the budget. Togethe we explore what can be done, what can be skipped or what can be added.
- For guidance, however, on itineraries and activities, we have chosen to leave out activities that do not involve wildlife viewing. This we agree together. One travel group on a student safari holiday would like sporting activities, others volunteerism, others general research... and the list.. endless.
- We have included here standard prices for an ideal Kenya Student Safari, a Tanzania Student Safari), expectations, accommodation types and much more. Use the inquiry form to post any details and questions. More so, tell us your budget and we work together to fit all possible options.
Our Emphasis of a Student Safari Holiday
We are conscious of the fact that:-
- That students seek to more to learn with an adventurous spirit, and would wish for a fun-packed educational experience to relate to their relatives and friends back at home. With this in view, the student safari preparation phase invests with their group leaders and organizers (and their entire troop) by thorough, well-documented objectives, day by day, hour by hour plan, duly discussed, rehearsed and agreed upon.
- That students have invested a great deal of their time gathering finances from various sources and would seek to be rewarded accordingly. For this reason, THERE are special discounts to student groups and more so their leaders, unto whom we ensure, that their chaperon undertakings are rewarded, HERE.
- That students' inquisitive minds would seek direct interaction with African subjects for a first hand experience contrary to stories and tales of Africa they read from fiction writers. As part of our wildlife safari itinerary, we include a visit to a Maasai Cultural Village.
- Above the regular morning and afternoon game drives, if the budget agrees, our student safari itineraries are bound to include some African 'adrenaline' activities that are easily affordable like boating, biking, walking and hiking, Masai 'high jump' and the like.
- Eating is a must, and so is eating good! A selection of Africa's best traditional delicacies to tantalize your buds prepared by 'gifted hands' will be readily available in copious amounts. Africa is rich in nutrient laden vegetables only found in Africa. We try to arrange for an African roast goat berbecue (at your camp in Masai Mara) ... and for this reason, you must come!
- Large student groups have different interest and hobbies. While it isnt possible to satisfy everyone, we document your interests thruogh our 'Prepare for Africa Travel' pre-departure 'seminars' to seek ways of considering each and available opportunities to live them.
- That students on safari would wish for involvement in the activities that relate to their care. For example, some students in the group who love cooking can remain in to assist in preparing the barbeque, preparing sauces, while others may help in setting up and dismantling tents, gathering firewood for the camp bonfire etc.
